God of resurrection

Dr. Paul Dhinakaran
21 Apr
Dearly beloved, along with my family, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a Blessed Easter. We celebrate this festival remembering the resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ who sacrificed His life for us on the cross. We are celebrating this Easter with great joy and I believe our Lord will make you rejoice all your lifetime. Nothing other than the blessings of our Lord gives us joy. You may say "I don’t have a child; I am not married yet; I don’t have a job or I don’t have sufficient income." The Lord of resurrection will perform a miraculous deed in your life, this day. Our Lord Jesus is Alive!
According to the verse "Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy." (Proverbs 28:13) confess your shortcomings to Jesus who died for you on the cross. He will forgive you and lead you through a righteous living. Bible says, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8). How amazing is His grace! He carried our sins, sickness, troubles and sorrow on the cross and crowned us with His righteousness. That is the reason we celebrate this day. What a great gift it is; for our Lord works wonders in our weakness. For this sake we should celebrate not just this day but a lifetime.
After Jesus died on the cross and was buried, on the third day Mary and Mary Madeline went to the tomb of Jesus. They went there to see the body of Christ with great grief and agitation. They did not go to the tomb believing that Jesus would resurrect. Though Jesus had said that He will rise up from the dead, they did not believe that. Yes, at times when we are drowning in sorrow and grief we are unable to stay strong in our faith. Similarly those women had no faith that Jesus will resurrect from the dead. At that time an angel appeared and said to them, “Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified.  He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.”  And they left the tomb quickly with fear and great joy and ran to report it to His disciples. And behold, Jesus met them and greeted them" (Matthew 28:5-9).Even this day, as we confess that Jesus is alive, He will strengthen us no matter how weak we are and use us as a channel of blessing. Honor the Lord with your good deeds and use all your talents for His glory. God will use you mightily and you will be used by our Lord to bring His resurrection in the lives of numerous souls. May the Lord bless you and your family abundantly in this day!
Prayer:
Loving Lord, give me the grace to receive the power of Your resurrection. I thank you for being with us as the living resurrected God. I repent for my sins, Lord. Forgive me and make me holy. Lord, resurrect my dead soul and make me blessing to many. Help me to not lose my faith. Fill us with Your joy that we may praise Your name and rejoice in this Easter.  In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
