Chosen and not forsaken

The tribulations in this world that confronts you might cause you to doubt whether God has forsaken you.  Some weakness or the dreadful hidden sins in life would have misled you into the caves of doubts and fears and stopped you from clinging on to God’s calling. But, it is not so!  The Bible says: “For God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable” (Romans 11:29).  He is just waiting to heal you, sanctify you and strengthen you.

In the Year 1969, when my father was just 34 years old, his lungs failed and doctors gave hope only for one more month of living.  He became bone and skin, coughing blood all the time.  He even told my mother, “I have lived a righteous life so far.  I am going away and God will take care of you and my sweet darling Children.”  In that moment of death and darkness, Jesus appeared to him, and said, “My son, why are you crying?” My father said, “It is paining.  I can't bear this pain anymore.  It is too much for me.”  The Lord said, “My son, as you go through this path of sickness and pain, you will understand the agony of others in pain and would be able to pray with compassion.  You will fight for their soul.  But, out of my compassion, sooner I will raise you up to carry the gospel to the whole world.”  My father rose up with renewed strength and travelled around the world, carrying the gospel for many years.
Beloved, God did not cast away Abraham who gave birth to Ishmael out of God’s plan. God did not cast away David who committed adultery with Bathsheba. We see Jesus too who did not cast away Peter who denied Jesus.  He did not cast away Thomas who doubted His resurrection. Also, He did not cast away the Samaritan woman who lived with five men but He forgave her.  All of them fulfilled the original plan of God, though they got deviated from His plan.  He would not cast away you either for any reason.  Come boldly into His presence standing on His righteousness and His cleansing blood.  He loves you.  Commit yourself to Him and be filled with the joy of being His ambassador on this earth.
Prayer:
Loving Lord, I bring my weakness and sickness before You.  Deliver me from my weakness.  Heal me of my sickness. Help me to stand for Your glory.  Forgive me and cleanse me from all of my sins.  Sanctify me and use me for Your glory.  I believe in Your words that Your calling is irrevocable.  I come back to You.  Dwell in me and display Your power through me.  In Jesus; name I pray, Amen.
