WAIT PATIENTLY

Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran
16 Apr
There are times when God wants us to wait before He gives the answers; this is to teach us patience and in the process of the waiting period, we learn to lean on the Lord. Any circumstance that draws us closer to the Lord is only for our good. As we wait upon the Lord, we show our faithfulness to Him. When we exhibit an unshakable faith in God, He will perform great and marvellous things through us.  At times, waiting may be difficult, but the Lord gives us His grace to live a holy life. The joy that we receive as we realize that it was worth the wait is going to be immense. The Psalmist, who had tasted the love of God and experienced God’s favour on His children, says: “I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry.” (Psalm 40:1). So do not get discouraged, but continue to wait on the Lord, if necessary, by abstaining food and sleep.”
There are many who visit the Jesus Calls Prayer Towers to seek Jesus’ face to face and to receive an answer/blessing for their prayers and God grants them whatever they ask in faith. As it is written, “For where two or three come together in my name, I am there in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20). God answers those prayers offered in unison at the blessing meetings conducted in the Prayer Towers. It is their faith that works in them. Most people who receive a miracle in their lives are found to have great faith and they are those who had waited patiently for a long time. When they come back to us to testify the miracle that God had done in their lives, it would always be a double measure of what they had asked for. God has blessed so many people that they are able to bless the Jesus Calls ministry to reach out to more people like them.

Yes, He will answer your prayer also. When we utter the name of Jesus and ask for miracles to happen, it will be done to you. Our Lord Jesus says “And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” (John 14:13). So do not be disheartened. Ask the Lord with a true heart: A heart that trusts Him; looks for His love and grace; that longs to praise and glorify His glorious name.  He will make everything beautiful in its time (Ecclesiastes 3:11). We read in the Bible, "Jesus has done all things well" (Mark 7:37). Yes, He will listen to your prayer and exalt you. He will use you in new dimensions and heap His blessings upon you and your family. You will arise and build the Kingdom of God.
Prayer:
Father in Heaven, You have showed us your Glory through great and marvellous ways. We will trust you all the days of our lives and will praise Your mighty name. Lord, I will wait in your presence patiently until I find my requests answered. I will not be afraid of the things that put me down or distress me, for I have known Your power and Glory.  Bless us and all the works of our hands. I pray all this in the matchless name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen.
