The Joy Of Christmas

Dr. Paul Dhinakaran
25 Dec
I wish you all a very warm Christmas! The essence of Christmas is "Obedience". We celebrate this Christmas day, the birth of Christ Jesus with great joy. How did we receive this joy? It is purely by the obedience of Jesus Christ we are enjoying this festival.  "Rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.  And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!" (Philippians 2:7,8). Jesus incarnated as a child, born of a virgin and gave Himself as a sacrifice in obedience to His Father. It is through His sacrifice, millions of people came to know the truth of eternal life they receive through His Salvation.

The entire ministry of Jesus Calls is also led through the obedience of my parents unto God. This is why millions of people are being blessed through this ministry. Even this day, God clearly speaks to me on what I should do in Ministry, Karunya, and SEESHA. I witness great blessing in my family when I obey the instructions of God. I encourage you to accept Jesus as your Savior and submit yourself to His will. When you do so, you will be blessed and also will be a blessing to millions. Secondly; we see the obedience of Mary. "You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?” The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God."(Luke 1:28-35).
Though Mary was a virgin, she adhered to the will of God. Having known that she would lose her conduct in society, she submitted herself when she received the word of God. “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” (Luke 1:38). Thirdly; we read that Elizabeth was conceived before her.  She was barren for several years and God blessed her womb. Elizabeth was a symbol of obedience to Mary. When Mary visited Elizabeth, the Bible says Elizabeth's baby leaped in her womb. In a loud voice she exclaimed: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! (Luke 1:42). The foremost thing that you need to do is to Obey God's word. Furthermore, you need to receive His Holy Spirit. When you do so; the God who calls into being things that were not, will do wonders in your life.

Mary obeyed God and received a child through the Holy Spirit.  I urge you to obey God's word and receive the Holy Spirit as only the Holy Spirit can help you to meet your needs. May the Lord God who calls into being things that were not, give unto you this day, the blessing of a new organ, Gift of the womb, a life partner, an own house and all that your heart desires. Your family members will also be filled by the Holy Spirit through you!
Prayer:
Sweet Jesus, what a wonder you are! Thank you for coming to this world to redeem us and give unto us your Salvation. Thank you for showing us the way that we need to walk on earth. Thank you for the Truth that you demonstrated on the cross. Thank you for the eternal life that you have promised us. I surrender my life into thy hands. Help me walk in obedience to you word. Lord, give unto me you Holy Spirit and renew a right spirit within me. In the most precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ I pray, amen!
