The Importance of a Good Breakfast: If you strive to make a good breakfast, include tofu, lean meat and whole grain cereals in it. Another good choice is an egg, some grain toasts with nut butter, some fruits and a cup of low-fat milk. Whole grains are full of protein and fiber which keeps girls satisfied until lunch. Sugary breakfast cereals, syrup and white-flour pancakes, on the contrary, do not give the feeling of fullness and satisfaction. Sugary cookies and white-flour cookies should be avoided at breakfast.

The Importance of a School Lunches: If the school where you, your daughter, or friend study provides nutritious lunches, make sure these lunches are healthy. Unfortunately, lunches in most schools consist of poor quality foods, such as pizzas, French fries, etc. Healthy fresh foods are needed to be healthy; water should be the main beverage in school lunches. It is important that girls should eat healthy salads, fruits, hearty soups and sandwiches with whole grains.

The Importance of a After School Snacks: Note that after substantial breakfast and healthy lunch young girls need to have a snack after studies. Do not choose sugary and high glycemic index foods, chips or candies. They will make you even hungrier than you are. Instead, eat nuts and apples or vegetables and dips.
