Fish fingers.

Ingredients:

1½ kg - fish
1 - onion
12 cloves - garlic
1" piece - ginger
1 tsp - coriander powder
1 tsp - chilly powder
1 tbsp - lemon juice
1 - egg, beaten
Breadcrumbs for coating
Salt to taste and oil for frying

Method:

Clean and bone fish. Cut lengthwise into fingers.

Grind together onion, garlic and ginger. Mix in coriander powder, chilly powder, salt and lemon juice.

Rub masala into fish fingers on all sides. Keep aside for 2 hours. Dip in egg. Roll in breadcrumbs.

Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown. Serve hot with lemon wedges.
