Do you say, “I”m sorry?”

‘I' m sorry ' are two words that are used very often in human communication and they are very powerful words that mend and heal relationships, and can alter or build up the broken relationships. Sorry is a sentimental word and touches our heart easily. It gives us a chance to forgive, which also makes us feel good. The word sorry makes sense only when it comes from the bottom of the heart.

When others say sorry for a mistake they have committed, we generally go soft on them. We cannot go on to betray them after that. We believe that they have realized their mistake. But there are some people who don't ask sorry or apologies for their behavior or words. They think that it is an ego problem. Because of their ego problem, they unknowingly create a small problem into a big war. They think that they are always perfect. They also won't accept their mistake if others try to explain them.

But we are created in His image. Our Lord Jesus Christ revealed a living model to us. He is the Lord God, who created the Universe. But when He lived in this world, He was full of humility. His birth itself revealed to the Universe, how simple He was born. His each and every action resembled unconditional love and care for His people. But being His children, we should also resemble the same. There is a category of people who will say sorry at the drop of a hat. By saying it they think their job is over. They deem it a right not to be questioned any further once they have said sorry.

Some people also apologies with the same tone as they say, “Hi, How are you?" It will not sound good. Sorry is not a word said for formality. It should be felt by the person by whom it is said. It is not an escape route from problems. Even to forgive and to ask for forgiveness we should have a heart. Because to ask sorry is easy, but to forgive is a little tough task. We won't generally accept mistakes to happen. It is our nature. We always want everything to be perfect in all ways.

So if we expect only perfection from others always, we will be disappointed. Because except God nobody is perfect. But if we have a heart to forgive and apologies for our mistakes, life will be more colorful and meaningful to us. Enjoy life at every moment. God who created us wants us to be happy always.
