O Lord! Make us glad according to the days in which You have afflicted us, The years in which we have seen evil.

Loving Heavenly father!
My life has become empty and meaningless. You know the condition of my heart, O Lord! I am just drifting in this world of misery. I have no one to turn to but You for comfort and guidance concerning my future.
If I have hurt You or my former partner in any way, I beg of You to forgive me. I freely forgive all those who hurt me in this regard. Lord, I commit the healing of all my hurts in my life at Your feet.
Now, I place my future into Your loving hands. I trust You to provide the human companionship through another spouse of Your choice. You know, Lord, this is my desperate need, at the moment. I am so scared to take the next step, O Lord. I have no courage to face the world. Lift me up Lord, let Your light shine upon me! Turn all my sorrows into joy and honour me in double measure. I know You will do it because You will understand my loneliness. I expect a miracle soon. I offer my prayer in the sweet name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
