CRYING WITH COMPASSION

Gist:  When you pray fervently with compassion for others God will certainly listen to your prayer.

When we cry out to God day and night, He shall certainly do justice to us. Jesus said, “And will not God bring about justice for His chosen ones, who cry out to Him day and night? Will He keep putting them off? I tell you, He will see that they get justice, and quickly” (Luke 18:7, 8). This is again emphasized in Luke 21:36, “Be always on the watch and pray.”

Dear Friend! Call on the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and say, “Loving Lord! Not only me but all my relatives and all my neighbours should also know Your love.” When you pray fervently with a sense of love and compassion for others God will certainly listen to your prayer and bring everyone into His divine fold.

We are living in the last days. The Lord says, “In the last days, I will pour out my Spirit on all people” (Acts 2:17). In these last days apart from praying for us, our family and for secular blessings we should also pray night and day for spiritual blessings saying, “Oh Lord, please fill me with Your power and gifts”. As mentioned in the Bible, “Seek first his kingdom and is righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” (Matthew 6:33). Please pray fervently, “Oh Lord, please give me more of Your spiritual blessings. Then I know all the other blessings shall automatically come to me.” Then the Lord shall fill you with spiritual blessings.

Although I have lost many things in my personal life, I prayed to Him fervently, “Oh Lord, I need only the joy given by You. So please fill me more and more with Your Holy Spirit, gifts and power. Only then I can be a blessing to the people.” Hence the Lord has filled me with His gifts and power and He is using me mightily these days. When you too cry out to God night and day for spiritual blessings and power, he shall begin to increase in you. When you pray continuously and fervently with joy to the Lord who does not despise the prayer of the destitute. He shall certainly answer your prayer and bless you with His divine blessings.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

Give me the grace to offer unceasing prayer filled with the anointing of the Holy Spirit always. Just as how You were connected with the Father while You sojourned on this earth help me to be always in Your presence not only during times of trouble but also during times of happiness. Give me Your strength, love and compassion to plead not only for myself but for others also. Help me to love my enemies, bless those who curse me, do good to those who hate me, and pray for those who spitefully use me and persecute me.

In Your precious name I pray.

Amen.
