Dear Friend! It is such a joy to meet you through this message received from the presence of God. God promises, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” and encourages you, “Be strong and of good courage.” When we are strong and courageous our thoughts will march forward like a lion. Then, there will be no word called ‘retreating’ in our life (Proverbs 28:1). You must be strong and courageous because your is trust is in the Lord Jesus Christ who has promised to abide with you forever (Matthew 28:20). When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he told, “Gideon! You are a mighty man of valour because the Lord is with you” (Judges 6:12)
Dear Friend! On this day you shall be a mighty person as well. You shall be strong and courageous to fulfill what God has ordained in your life. Offer your thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ for being with you always. The following is a testimony of a person who placed trust in God and received His blessings in abundance. Read and behold your blessing.
“My name is Poonam Ekka from Gumla in Jharkhand district. I offer my grateful thanks to the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. In the year 2004, I came to the Jesus Calls Prayer Festival held in Ranchi along with my mother. We as a family faced a lot of problems. My mother used to consume liquor and there was no peace in our family. My mother used to grumble even while giving money for my education. I used to read the Jesus Calls magazine and receive divine peace into my heart from our Lord Jesus Christ. I surrendered myself into the hands of our Lord.
I wrote a letter to the Prayer Tower and also received a comforting reply. Earlier I could not concentrate in my studies but now I am able to do so. Besides that my mother who often used to fight earlier is now composed, gives money for my studies and divine peace prevails in our family. All glory be to God.” Be of good cheer! Jesus Christ who has promised, “I am with you always, even to the end of the age", will perform miracles in your life.
Prayer
Loving Lord Jesus,
I stand before You empty-handed and forsaken by all. At this moment and forever, You alone are my Helper. You alone are my way, comfort and source of all blessings. May my soul be strengthened in Your joy. Enable my living on this earth to be a source of joy to You. There are many needs in my life. I have been pining for such a long time to receive blessings from Your hands. I request You to perform a miracle in my life and bless me in an overflowing manner. I trust that when I look up to You as a good Shepherd I shall have everything that I need. I cling on to Your precious feet and thank You for this wonderful privilege of being able to call You ‘Abba Father’. I fully believe that You will surely remember me and bless me.
