Gist:  God desires our abiding in Him and believing in Him.

Have you ever experienced the fullness of blessings when the Lord remained with you? The following verse describes such an experience (Isaiah 41:10). Claiming the above verse as our own, let us lead our life with a courageous heart. Who can get this blessed privilege of the Lord, who created this universe holding us in His right hand? Let us receive it and enjoy this divine blessing. Don’t underestimate your life and doubt the veracity of these blessings. Our Lord has earned this blessed privilege for everyone of us. But, He desires our abiding in Him and believing in Him. Like David, let us also have Him at our right side and then no one can move us (Psalm 16:8). He will uphold us with His righteous right hand and lead us.

Once there lived a woman who was scared of everything. She was scared to walk in darkness. She had no courage to stand on the platform and speak to an audience. But, God in His mercy chose this timid and nervous girl for His ministry. See! How mysterious is the call of the Lord! She prayed to God saying, “Dear Lord! I am ignorant and foolish. I am scared of everything in this world. I am not even bold enough to give my testimony for You. With all these shortcomings, how can I do Your ministry?’ But, God filled her abundantly with His Holy Spirit. As the Spirit in her increased more and more, the power of the Spirit grew stronger and stronger. Her fears fled from her. The Lord stood by her side and strengthened her. As His right hand upheld her, she preached the Word of God mightily to the people and led many people in the ways of the Lord. God by His grace enabled her to shine as a bright light and serve Him all over the world.

Dear Friend! Today, if you live in fear, God is ready to wipe it away from you and change your life. Nothing is impossible with Him. Abide in Him and ask Him to supply your needs. He will bless you abundantly and uphold you by His righteous right hand.

Prayer:

Loving Lord!

Take away all the unwanted fears from my heart and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Bless me with Your wisdom, knowledge and grace. From today onwards, give me Your grace and uphold me by Your righteous right hand to shine for You and to live for Your glory.

In the righteous name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ I pray.

Amen.
