David had great trust and faith in God when he told, “The Lord is my Shepherd and I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1). He starts the psalm with an assurance that the Lord is a Shepherd and He would hold his hand and would lead him in the green pastures. Today, why don’t we also trust God and take Him as our Shepherd. Why do we worry for small and trivial matters as well as big ones? (1 Peter 5:7). Let us be bold and surrender our life to God. And, let us ask Him to lead us every moment of our life and give us all our daily needs. The Lord is a Rock, and a Refuge to all those who trust in Him (Psalm 18:2; 2 Samuel 22:3).
A couple had no children for many years. Yet, the wife believed that the Lord would never let her down and patiently waited for His blessings. She had to bear many insulting and humiliating words thrown at her But, she was firm in her faith. She often came to Jesus Calls Prayer Tower with her husband and fervently prayed for the blessing of a child. God saw how firm the wife and the husband were in their faith in Him. In a wonderful way, He blessed them with a child. He honoured them in front of those people who had humiliated and insulted them. He fulfilled in their life the promise, “Instead of your shame you shall have double honour and instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion” (Isaiah 61:7).
Dear Friend! All things are possible for God. He Himself asks us, “Is there anything too hard for Me?’ (Jeremiah 32:27). Surely, He will not allow insults and humiliations in our life to continue forever. He will meet all your needs. Therefore, like the sister in the above incident, if you seek the Lord faithfully, He will surely help you and bless you.

Loving Lord!
Today, I know that You are more than sufficient for me. You are sure to fulfill all the needs and desires of my heart as You did to David and this couple in the above incident. I also hold fast to You at all times of my life. A million thanks to You for hearing my prayers and answering me.
