According to the verse, “The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it” (Proverbs 10:22), the Lord brought my wife Evangeline into my life, settled her in our house and blessed her with multiple blessings. By way of answering the prayers offered by her parents, God continues to fulfill the desires of her heart and sees to it that she lacks no good thing in all aspects of her life.
Just as how the Almighty God prepared the mountains – the high places, so that His children – the Israelites could settle down upon her in the same manner He united my wife with me to settle down in our house.
On this day, perhaps many of you are longing to get into the right family. You are waiting and at the same time worried as to how you would be settled in life. Probably you are praying ceaselessly wondering about the ways of God in your life. I firmly believe the following testimony by a couple who were wonderfully united by God will kindle your faith as well.
Jai Wilson Prabhakar is associated with the Jesus Calls Ministry and supports the ministry by being a donor in facets like Children Blessing Plan, Television Blessing Plan and so on. These Blessing Plans continues to be a source of bountiful blessings to him. He has been blessed in so many ways through the Jesus Calls Ministry. He says, ‘The Marriage Bureau is a wonderful welfare scheme for the Christian community to find their soulmate’. It has helped him to find an excellent and virtuous wife named Beulah Rebecca. Both of them are placed in good jobs. Besides that, this ministry as he says is reaching out to millions by spreading the Word of God. Furthermore, though it is not possible for him to offer any support physically, he does contributes his mite by way of fervent prayers and liberal donations.
Dear Friend! It may be that you are waiting for God to bring the right life partner into your life. Be assured of this. Just as how God favoured Isaac with Rebecca He will surely bless you and make you happy. It may be that your marriage is fixed and you are with mixed feelings as to how you are going to step into the family of your would be spouse.
Our God is the God of families (Jeremiah 31:1). It is HE who created this wonderful bonding between a husband and a wife. In all circumstances, look up to Him (Psalm 121:1, 2). Invite Him into your life to be the third cord because His presence alone can strengthen your family bonding by granting the divine peace and joy that you yearn for (Ecclesiastes 4:12). Always remember that without HIM you can do nothing (John 15:5). May God richly bless you. Be of good cheer!
Prayer:
Loving Heavenly Father,
You alone can grant me the indescribable joy in my life. I believe that the joy of the Lord alone is my strength. In Your immense grace and mercy cleanse me of all my sins and grant me the counsel that I need for this day. You are wonderful in counsel, mighty in deed and the God of peace. Help me to keep my eyes always focused on You for every need in my life.
