Speaker: Dr. Paul Dhinakaran Gist: We shall receive revelations just like children and surrender ourselves for His work.
The Lord told Rev. Oral Roberts, “I am the Lord who heals the people. So you gather the people and pray for them. Then they shall not only be saved but also be healed. My salvation power and healing power shall be revealed” (Exodus 15:26). So he used to place his hands upon everyone and pray. When he touches the people miracles shall happen. They shall be healed and would accept Jesus as their personal Saviour.
When Dr. T.L. Osborn contemplated as to how he could pray individually for the people, the Lord gave him a revelation as this: “When you stand before thousands of people on the dais, tell them that I am healing them. Then I shall touch them and heal them”. He would preach for about fifteen minutes and then offer a prayer filled with compassion for the people saying, “Jesus is a God who heals. He who healed Bartimaeus, would certainly heal you” (Mark 10:51-52). Thousands of people will be healed instantaneously and through that multitude of people were saved.
People revered and honoured Solomon as the king. However he told, “Lord, I am a little child who knows nothing. You have made me king in the place of my father David. Please have mercy on me.” The Lord replied, “Solomon, the prayer you offered was accepted to My heart. That is why I am giving you this kingdom. One does not become a king just by being placed on the throne. I ought to give the kingdom for you to rule it. That is why I tested your desire. You pleaded, “Lord, I am not a king, but a little child.”
In other words Solomon humbled himself by saying, “God alone can place a king on the throne. None can become an able ruler by merely sitting on the throne. The government can issue order and place anyone on the throne. Even the people can greet me but God has not made me the king. I am a little child in His sight. When God makes me sit on this throne, I have decided not to rule on my own but implicitly follow what God wants me to do. I will always remember in my heart that I am a little child before my God.” (1 Kings 3:10-14).
The Lord would like to do the same for us also. Today He shall open the eyes of our heart and we shall receive revelations. We shall receive those revelations just like children and surrender ourselves for His work. Then Satan shall fall like lightning and the kingdom of God shall be established all over the world through us.
Prayer:
Loving Lord Jesus,
The Bible records that in You are hidden the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. There is no wisdom or understanding or counsel against You. Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of You! How unsearchable are Your judgments and Your ways past finding out! For You give wisdom and from Your mouth comes knowledge and understanding. On this day, help me to be a child always to receive the revelation that You give with a humble heart obeying You with implicit obedience.
