Once, Charles Spurgeon a renowned evangelist shared this incident which happened in his life. His grandfather, a servant of God was a very poor man. They had a cow as their only possession and one day even that died. His grandmother greatly worried questioned, “What are we going to do now?” For which her husband responded, “I too don’t know but I have asked the Lord to provide a cow for us. I am sure He will.” Further he also encouraged her, “Don’t worry all our ten children will have milk to drink.” Mountain like was the faith that his grandfather had placed on the Lord. The most important aspect of this incident is that they never explained their problem to anyone but made it known only to God alone.
The following day, a certain man came and knocked at the door of his grandfather and told, “Sir! I have brought a gift for you. This gift comes to you through a relief fund. The members of that committee gave it to me and asked me to give it to you. It is surprising that somehow they suddenly remembered you name. Everyone in the committee volunteered to offer five pounds each.”
It was so amazing because that sum was the exact amount required to buy a cow. With that amount he bought a cow. Isn’t our God incomparable? It is only when we place our faith entirely on God and ask Him alone not depending on our neighbours, friends, relatives or co-workers does God perform wondrous acts in our lives. God made the joy of that family complete by granting them their need exactly without delay.
On this day, God will provide that which you are desperately in need of and will shower His choicest blessings upon you. Our loving Lord Jesus Christ will meet your every need and make your joy complete. He alone is the living God who provides everything so that we might richly enjoy them (1 Timothy 6:17). Be of good cheer on this day.
By visiting this website you have come with a hope that Lord Jesus Christ will definitely meet all your financial needs. Perhaps you are walking through the valley of poverty with tears trickling down your eyes. Your spirit is weighed down by the enormous amount of loans to be repaid or you are without a house of your own. Probably you are traveling through the valley of tears or insults without a life partner or a child. Whatever be your supplications just send it to the Lord in prayer pleading in His name to provide all those things you are in need and certainly He will make your joy complete. HE is our Provider.
The Lord says, “I will make you an eternal excellence, A joy of many generations. “ (Isaiah 60:15). Seeing you happy is His joy. When you call on the name of Jesus Christ indescribable joy engulfs you. On this day ask the Lord to fill you with His joy. He says, "Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” (John 16:24). The joy of the Lord shall fill you on this day.
Prayer
Loving heavenly Father,
You alone are my Provider. For without You nothing is possible for me. Help me to always look upto You who is my song, shield and salvation. Give me the grace not to depend on mortals for any assistance but to keep my eyes always upon You – from Whom comes my help. I believe that my help can come only from the Maker of this heaven and earth. Prosper my efforts for this day and crown this day with Your goodness.
