Gist:  God will save you, lead you and bless you in a wonderful way.

In our personal life as well as in our family life when we accept God as the King of kings and the Lord of lords, He will do great and mighty things for us. It is indeed a great blessing to us to know, “The Lord is King forever and ever.” (Psalm 10:16).

Many times, I too have prayed fervently like this. Before addressing public meetings I always pray, “My dear Lord! Not I; You be my King of kings. Take control of this meeting and lead me. Please see that there are no hindrances or shortcomings and help all who attend this meeting to receive Your great blessings.” God heard that prayer. My King of kings with His immeasurable power helped me complete the meetings successfully and in a blessed way (Psalm 18:6).

Similarly, you too should pray when you face troubles and problems in you family life. “Lord! I am unable to manage the affairs of my children. I also do not know how to complete the matters regarding my spouse.” When you pray like that, He will hold you hand lead you, remove all the hindrances and would go before you (Micah 2:13) and make the crooked places straight because He is the King of kings forever (Isaiah 45:2).

In a certain family, the husband died unexpectedly at a very young age. The widow was shocked. Her kith and kin pitied her plight saying, “How would she single-handedly take care of a family at such an young age?” Do you know what that woman did? As soon as all her relatives and friends left the house, she knelt down and prayed to God. “Dear Lord! On this day I place my family at Your feet. Please lead us in Your way and bless us abundantly.” She surrendered and submitted her life to the will of God – the King of kings. God performed miracles in the education of her children, their employment and their marriage. He perfected everything for that family at the right time. The people who knew her, exclaimed, “God is indeed taking care of this family as the King of kings and is leading all of them in a wonderful and miraculous way”.

On this day, God is ready to bless you in a similar way. You also look at the King of kings and leave all your burdens at His feet. He will save you, lead you and bless you in a wonderful way (Psalm 25:15).

Prayer:

Loving Heavenly Father!

Take away from me all the unwanted worries, burdens and fears. From today onwards, You be the King of kings of my life and take charge of all my burdens. I thank You and bless You for being with me and guiding me.

In the eternal name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ I pray.

Amen.
