RENEWED IN KNOWLEDGE

Gist:  God is prepared to bless you if you seek Him with zeal and faith in your heart.

When we do not know God and live in ignorance, our life becomes meaningless and worthless. But, the moment we come to know of Him, our life is changed upside down. This is what the Bibles describes as the experience of the new man who is renewed in knowledge. “Put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him.” (Colossians 3:10).

When the knowledge of God comes into us, our eyes are opened (Romans 11:33; Colossians 2:3). “This is eternal life that they may know You the only true God and Jesus Christ whom You have sent” says John 17:3. Dear Friend, the God who said, “Ask and you shall receive” is prepared to bless you if you seek Him with zeal and faith in your heart.

There was a little boy, a student from whose mind everything evaporated although he strained every nerve to read his lessons. His mother panicked over such a poor performance in his studies. However, he managed to pass his class examinations scoring the borderline mark for a pass owing to the fervent and tearful prayers of his mother.

One day, his mother visited the “Jesus Calls Prayer Tower” along with her son. She explained her petition to one of the Prayer Warriors and requested, “Please pray for my son. He is unable to retain whatever he learns. He forgets everything so very quickly.” Following this, whenever she came to the Prayer Tower, the Prayer Warriors prayed fervently and faithfully for her son.

His mother also joined him in the “Jesus Calls Young Partners Plan” with great faith. Besides that, she too prayed with fasting for a miracle in her son. The tears of this affectionate mother moved the Almighty God who hears and answers prayers. Thereafter, God also sat with him whenever he studied and helped him to retain all that he learnt.

God desires to give His wisdom and knowledge in an immeasureable way to all those who seek Him diligently and call out to Him with a broken and contrite heart. In the same way he will give you His knowledge exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think and bless your life (Ephesians 3:20).

Prayer:

Loving Lord!

From today onwards, You be my wisdom and knowledge in my life. My knowledge and wisdom is of no use in this world. Give me the grace to depend on You and to be filled by Your divine wisdom in my personal life, in my family life and also in my work spot. Bless me to glorify Your name in my life.

In the blessed name of our Lord Jesus I pray.

Amen.
