On this day, if you place your trust in the Almighty God, He would just say one word and all your problems will vanish like the mist that is touched by the rays of the sun. (Psalm 34:17) For with God nothing will be impossible (Luke 1:37). When our Lord Jesus Christ sojourned on this earth, multitudes followed Him and He was moved with compassion for them (Matthew chapter 14).
It is recorded that Jesus Christ healed the people of their sickness and made them whole. For three days they sat at the feet of Jesus Christ hearing his harangue. Towards the close of day, the disciples approached Jesus asking Him to send them away that they might find some food for themselves. It was a wilderness where there was scanty or no food for such a huge crowd gathered there. Jesus Christ did not want to send them away with empty stomachs. On the contrary Jesus Christ asked the disciples as to whatever food they had in hand.
Finally they offered Jesus Christ five loaves of bread and two fish. Jesus Christ blessed the loaves of bread and fish and gave it to His disciples to distribute it to about five thousand people who had been gathered there.
Dear Friend! When Jesus Christ saw the multitude He was moved with compassion to feed them all. They all ate and were satisfied. Such is the unconditional love of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. It is through Jesus Christ the entire cosmos and the contents therein were created and blessed. How does God do wonderful things? “and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ…” (Ephesians 3:9). Let them praise the name of the LORD, For He commanded and they were created (Psalm 148:5). For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast (Psalm 33:9).
On this day, Jesus Christ is eager to bless you and satisfy you even during this time when the world is faced with financial crisis. You may say, “It looks as if my problems are bigger than mountains and that it would be impossible even for God to handle this situation of mine.” However, bear this in mind, God can call those things which do not exist as if they did and therefore He can create new things for you. Just for your sake, God can change any situation. He alone can bless, prosper and satisfy your soul. All that we are expected to do is to place our trust on this unchanging Jesus Christ. On this day open your heart to the One who stands knocking at its door and say, “Lord! I am nothing in this world. I am sitting in darkness. I want to receive Your blessings. Please fill me with the Holy Spirit and come into my heart.” Surely God will enable you to witness His awesome deeds in your life that You will magnify His holy name now and forever.

Loving Lord
Wonderful and mighty God, You were concerned about those people who came to hear Your message about the kingdom of God. In the wilderness where it is impossible to find food for such a large number of people, You multiplied the five loaves of bread and two fish and satisfied the hunger of five thousand. On this day, when everything looks as if it is the dead end, You can make a way where there seems to be no way. On this day, perform awesome and mighty deeds in my life that I may always remember Your goodness and magnify Your name.
