FISH OR CRAB?

Gist:  Depart from the ways of evil and seek the ways of righteousness.

God never ever compels anyone to do anything! He has kept two ways, good and bad before us for us to choose and follow. They are also known as narrow and wide gates (Matthew 7:13,14). The fear of the Lord is to hate evil, says Proverbs 8:13. Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. Therefore, those who depart from evil are blessed with the wisdom of God. Let us always pray, “Lord, help me never to follow the evil ways but give me the grace only to follow Your divine ways” Then, He will surely give us strength and bless our lives. He will go before us and make the crooked places straight (Isaiah 45:2). As He promised, He will definitely keep us away from evil ways and help us lead a holy and righteous life.

When Brother Paul Dhinakaran was six years old, by the gifts of the Holy Spirit and through the gift of prophecy, God spoke to him. He told him, “Son, I place two ways before you. One is the way of the fish that swims straight. The other is the way of a crab which moves in a crooked manner. Choose for yourself the way you want to go!” After hearing everything, he chose the way of the crab and went away from God for sometime. But, we the parents prayed to God daily with tears in our eyes. God heard our prayers offered with tears and made him leave his bad friends and brought him back to His divine ways. Indeed it is amazing to witness as to how God in His immense grace and mercy is making thousands of young people to follow the way of a fish through my son Paul Dhinakaran’s life and ministry.

Dear Friend! Depart from the ways of evil and seek the ways of righteousness. Then, you are sure to preserve your soul. Today, right now, will you decide to come back to the way of a fish? Let us flee from filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God (2 Corinthians 7:1). Plead daily asking God to go before you for He says, “This is the way, walk in it” (Isaiah 30;21). This will surely help us to overcome the evil ways and make us follow the true and righteous ways.

Prayer:

Precious Saviour!

You sacrificed Yourself on the cross only to make me leave the way of a crab and follow the way of a fish. I understand this divine truth and surrender my life to You today. Give me the grace only to walk in Your ways at all times of my life.

In Your holy name I pray.

Amen.
