God is a Builder of our family. He wants to bless you with a family life and also bless your family life. There is a name for our God which is “God of the families” as stated in the Bible. "At the same time," says the LORD, "I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be My people." (Jeremiah 31:1). He blesses the families that fear Him.
Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, Who delights greatly in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches will be in his house, And his righteousness endures forever. Psalm 112:1-3
How does God bless the man who fears Him? His descendants shall be mighty upon this earth.
There lived a god fearing man called Jonathan Edwards, an evangelist who founded the Princeton University in USA. A research was conducted on his lineage of about 1366 members. The report on this research reveals that not even one among them ever had stepped into a prison. No one among the members of his family ended up in an orphanage or were alcoholics. All his children from generation to generation were mighty people. Some were judges, others were servants of Gods, yet others were government officials, three were senators and one was the Vice- President of America. Such is the blessing that comes upon the man who fears God. God has not forgotten your family.
Today, this blessing will come upon you and the members of your family when you fear God. When you fear God, the responsibility to bless you rests upon Him. If you have so far worried about shouldering the responsibilities of your family, place your burden at the feet of the Almighty God. Take up the duty of fearing Him alone upon you and He will take up the responsibility of blessing you in everyway. When God takes this responsibility in His hands, you will see your children mighty, with wealth and riches, plenty in your house. Your righteousness will follow you from generation to generation. Be of good cheer.
Prayer
Our heavenly Father,
Help me to fear You. To fear You is to depart from everything that I know is evil. May goodness and mercy follow me not only all through my life but also through my descendants and let our cups overflow with You abundant mercy and grace. Please help me have reverential fear always and do everything pleasing in Your sight.
