MANY MIRACLES

Gist:  When we diligently seek the Lord Jesus Christ, He performs many miracles in our lives also.

The thoughts of our Almighty God concerning us is to perform innumerable miracles and wonders in our lives Psalm 40:5. Generally, as parents, when we celebrate the birthday of our children our mind is overloaded with novel ideas to make them happy. It is our deepest desire that our children should wear new clothes and particularly the best ones. We purchase so many things to gladden their hearts.

Likewise, our loving Lord wants to provide you – His child, with the best on this day. Since God’s thoughts about you is to make you happy, you can make a long list of all those things you expect God to do for you on this day. None can stop you from receiving the goodness which He intends to grant you (Job 42:2). When the favour of the Lord comes upon you, He will open the floodgates of heaven and would shower upon you blessings beyond your comprehension. The blessings of the Lord are “perfect goodness”. One could say that Job bore almost every form of torment and struggle that a man could yet he was firm during those testing times (Job 23:10). Job waited patiently for this “perfect goodness” to fall upon him. For all the troubles and trials faced while traversing through the valley of tears, God is going to bless you in a double measure. You know about the virtue called ‘patience’ that Job had as well as his end (James 5:11). How did Job’s life turn out to be? It was indeed a glorious one (Job 42:10).

Not only the material blessings but God also lengthened his life span to enjoy those blessings. When God restored blessings in the life of Job, all those who visited his house gave him coins and ornaments of silver and gold. The thoughts of God about you are many (Job 9:10). When we sit back and ponder over everything which God has done in our lives it is breathtaking. When Jesus Christ sojourned on this earth numerous were the miracles that He performed that they could not be recorded (John 21:25). When we diligently seek the Lord Jesus Christ, He performs many miracles in our lives also.

Prayer

Our heavenly Father,

I praise and thank You for crowing me with Your goodness. Many are Your wonderful works which You have done; and Your thoughts toward me cannot be recounted to You in order; if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. I praise you from the bottom of my heart for all the goodness which You have bestowed upon me. Help me to sing praises of Your glory all through my life.

Amen.
