Our dear Lord Jesus Christ is coming back to bring you the complete joy, happiness and peace!
Years back, in 1982, when I was in the United States of America, I came across a magazine of the unification of the churches, which had an advertisement of a Christian church which stated, ‘Jesus will not return back’. In publishing this, they had spent lakhs of money in those days. On seeing these things, did Jesus change His plan of return? No! Read the book of Revelation in the Bible. The Lord tells us, “Look! I am coming soon” (Revelation 22:12). Yes! Jesus is coming back and nobody can deny it. Matthew 24:35 says, 'Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.'
There was a time when the country of Iran and Iraq were waging war against each other. During the war, about ten thousand soldiers of Iran were taken as captives to the country of Iraq. But later, when a treaty was made between both the countries, a few numbers of soldiers were released from the captivity.
When the day of the war was announced, a woman in Iran who was pregnant was in the state of bidding adieu to her husband, who was going to the war. She sent her husband to the war and was waiting every day for his return. Later, she gave birth to a girl child and named her as, ‘Intezaar’ which means ‘Anxiously expecting/waiting’ in Urudu. With faith that her husband will return back soon, she gave that name to her child. On one fine day, she read in the newspaper, ‘Our brothers who were taken as captives are returning back today from Iraq.’ Seeing this, she hurried with her child to the harbour and waited to see her husband. Thousands of people stepped down from the ship and she kept looking at everyone’s face carefully, to figure if that was her husband. Suddenly, she cried out loud, ‘Intezaar.., Intezaar...’ The child said, ‘Mom, I am just near you, why do you scream so loud?’ She held her child and cried, ‘Intezaar, our waiting is over now. Look, there is your dad!’ Yes! The father came running to them, hugged and kissed both of them. Their hearts leaped with joy!
Beloved! Jesus is alive even today. His everlasting love will never leave you for a moment in the midst of your trial. He really sees your pain and counts all your tears. He has heard your cry. Remember that He has not forgotten you. He will heal your broken heart and He will reward you openly for the things you have done for Him in secret. Surely He will come back again and take you with Him. You will enjoy eternal life with Him. All you have to do is, read His Word and faithfully put it into practice. Yes! Spend more time in His presence. His coming is very near. Be prepared to meet Your King!
You are a great God, who never fails. Master, as You have promised to be with me all the days of my life, please, Lord, continue to be with me always. Help me, oh, Lord! To feel You closer when struggles of life surround me. Master, I believe with all my heart that You are coming soon to take me into Your glory and give me the complete joy and happiness in heaven. Thank You, Lord, for Your blessings. In Jesus' name,
