Beloved, the Scripture says, ‘The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing’ (Psalm 34:10). Experiencing God’s goodness, the psalmist says, “How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you” (Psalm 31:19).Yes! Everyone who delights in Jesus shall be blessed plenteous.
Once, I read a biography of a woman, who sought God diligently and died, after doing her ministry faithfully. In the days when she was doing ministry, God filled her with His power, anointed her and used her mightily.
Once, when she stood up to preach on the dais, she was surprised to see women seated at the back of the huge crowd, falling down and praying with tears. This power of God gradually covered the entire crowd. On hearing the noise, the men, who were outside, came running to help them. But as they entered inside, they too were touched by the mighty power of the Holy Spirit, fell down and began to pray with tears. Everyone there experienced the wonderful presence of God and praised the Father in Heaven.
The final moments of her life, were wonderful. When her life was about to depart, while others were looking at her, suddenly a divine light appeared on her face and made her whole body bright. This light filled the whole room in which she was lying. When this light departed, her life also left this world.
Beloved! Isaiah 64:4 says, ‘…since the beginning of the world Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, Nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him’ Yes, the lives of God’s people, who had tasted His love and comfort and who had sought Him diligently have always been wonderful. God Himself prospered all the labors of their hand. Even today, He would do the same thing for you. Invite Him in your heart, taste His goodness and experience His blessings beyond measure in your life.
I come to You this day surrendering my whole being into Your hands. Lord, come into my life and take complete control of everything. In Your great mercies, help me to draw closer to You and experience Your wonderful presence always. Lord, reveal Your glory to me as I sit in prayer and in reading Your Word. Let Your Holy Spirit teach me, guide and lead me. To You be all the glory. I ask this in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
