Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.    (Galatians 6:9)

The Dhinakarans Beloved! It is God's desire to give benefits to those who seek Him faithfully and who does good to others, in order to bring happiness in lives.

I know of a sister who would always run to help anyone who is in need or sorrow in trying to make them happy. She would also visit the sick in the hospital and the houses where people languished in problems and spend money beyond her capacity to help them. She did these good works because she had tasted the love of God.

One day, all of a sudden, this sister became ill and was bedridden. There was nobody near to look after her because even children were working in another place. Hence, she was all alone. At this desperate state, people who received help from her heard about her condition and willingly came forward to help her. The reason behind was, she did good works earlier, without any expectation of reward.

Beloved! We read in Isaiah 61:1, “The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners." Galatians 6:9 says, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Therefore, do not confine yourself to your own family, husband and children. Inquire about others’ need and help them according to your capacity. When you care for others, the love of God would be seen in you. Even in these days, strive to taste God’s love more and more, receive His comfort, seek Him faithfully, without being concerned about the worldly tribulations and enjoy the perfect benefits that He would give. Be firm in the holy calling by which He has called you and live for Him! May the Lord fill you with His new grace in these days and help you to taste His good qualities.

Almighty God,

Your grace and Your mercies for me are everlasting. Lord, even in this month end, give me Your grace to love you even more and draw closer to you so that I will be filled with Your good qualities and strive to do good works to the people around me who are in need. Lord, in everything I do, help me to reflect Your nature of care and love. Thank You for hearing my prayers. I offer this prayer, in Jesus’ name,
