SEEK GODíS WILL! Stella Dhinakaran

To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.    (1 Peter 2:21)

The Dhinakarans My dear beloved,

The Scriptures highlights that Jesus had a close communion with the Father in prayer and did only the will of the Father every day. The Bible says in Mark 1:35, Matthew 14:23, Luke 6:12, ďThe very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. He also went out to a mountainside and spent the night alone praying to God.Ē In the Gospel of Matthew 26, we read, Jesus cried out to the Father and interceded with Him before He died on the cross. In John 5:19, He said, that He can do nothing of Himself, unless He sees the Father doing it.

The Christian life is a wonderful experience of walking closely with the Lord on a daily basis. Even in my distresses, every day, after I am done with the household works, I rush into Godís presence, where I could pour out my heart to Him. The Lord hears my prayers and supplication. He speaks to me gently with His tender voice and strengthens my inmost being. All the time, He had lovingly embraced me and delivered me from all the troubles.

Dear beloved! The devil is actively engaged in bringing trials and tribulations in our lives and families to destroy the peace. When storms of life beat your way, how do you respond to your problems? Are you reflecting Godís image? Is Christ seen in your actions? Remember Jesus has chosen you to be His witnesses. The Scripture in 1 Peter 2:21 says, ďTo this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.Ē Are you struggling in your weaknesses? Take heart! Cling onto Jesus and seek Him every day. As a family, humble yourselves to God, surrendering your lives in prayer and thanksgiving. The Lord will guide your steps and direct your paths towards maturing you into His image and His likeness. Certainly, The Lord your God will make you plenteous in all the work of your hand.

PRAYER:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I come before Your throne of grace this day praising You for Your grace and love. Lord, kindly give me Your grace to faithfully follow Your Word all the days of my life. Master, I admit before You that there are a lot of things that I need to change in my life. Please wash me clean and fill me with Your Spirit. Come into my heart and take control of every part of my life. I give everything over to you. Guide me to take up my cross and follow You, Jesus. I offer this prayer with thanksgiving in Your matchless name,
Amen.
