"You did not choose me, but I chose you"    (John 15:16)

The Dhinakarans Dear beloved, I have the read the book of Luke, Chapter 24 which elicits the spiritual truths and parables said by the Lord Jesus. I have experienced all the verses mentioned in this chapter. Those who read these verses carefully and apply them in their life shall surely receive their forgiveness and reward from God. Read the book of Luke and Acts of the Apostles. As you spend time in meditating on these Scriptures, the Lord will help you experience His spiritual blessings in your life in an abundant measure and you will lead a life bearing fruit.

In Luke 7:37-50, we read about a woman who lived a sinful life. She knew Jesus was eating in the house of the proud religious law-keeper. She brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil. Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”

In the same manner, God is gracious to forgive us when we come into His presence and confess our sins. When we do our part of confessing and repenting of our sin and self, the Lord will do His part of choosing us to be His own. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). I believe that God is speaking to you. Examine yourself. Repent right now and ask for God’s forgiveness. God loves you and has chosen you and made you His holy people. So you are ought to live a holy life before Him. In John 15:16, Jesus said, “You did not choose me, but I chose you” Restore the joy of your salvation by spending more time in the presence of God and see how God works in your life. God bless you!

Dear Lord Jesus,

Forgive all that I've done against You and take me as Your child. Keep me away from presumptuous sins. I trust You to protect me from the stains of the world and help me to present myself blameless before You Lord! Let me glorify You alone Lord through my life. Guide me according to Your will. In Jesus name I pray.
