My dear beloved, Do you think that you are alone in this world, that you do not have a friend, that no one cares about you, that no one is concerned about anything that might happen to you. Do not be worried. God's loving relationship will refresh your soul and heart.
Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. Ge had clearly known about the temptation that came from the devil. He defeated the Devil by the Word of God. Yes, in your life too, Devil tries to tempt you with the worldly pleasures and make you fall into sin. At the end, the sin leads you to loneliness and tempts you to sin more. Even today, you may be bound by the sins of this world but they shall no longer be your master. Because Jesus Christ died on the cross for you, shedding His blood as the only acceptable payment for your sins. He is all powerful to deliver you and make you free. Jesus, who experienced supreme rejection and loneliness will surely comfort you and be with you till the end of the age.
Have you experienced moments of deep loneliness- depression, loss of job, loss of someone beloved, relationship break-ups, poor grades, failure. Jesus understands what you are going through. Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane. He was sorrowful and troubled. His soul was overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. He fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will but as you will.” Being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground. (Matthew 26:36-44; Luke 22:44).
Beloved, you may have been through many long seasons of being alone or completely isolated. You may be going through a tough time saying that there is no one to understand you. You may feel uncared, unloved, worthless, insignificant and unnoticed but Jesus perfectly understands your loneliness. He doesn’t just understand your loneliness; he’s destroying it by His power. Because He died on your behalf, you are no longer a lonely person. Right now, call unto Him. He will come near to you and comfort you. He will also comfort you through His Holy Spirit and provide peace and joy to you. In John 14:16, Jesus says, "And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever." Claim this Promise verse for your life and trust in the Lord. He will wipe your tears, comfort you and use your loneliness to work good in your life.
