Dearly beloved, when Lord Jesus comes and lives in us, we will experience victory in our lives.
The Bible relates, "The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field” (Matthew 13:44).
As mentioned in the above Scripture verse, the Lord grants us the grace to possess the heavenly treasure hidden in a field. His grace is perfect and it exalts us.
Paul the Apostle said, “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them- -yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me” (I Corinthians 15:10). “Whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ” (Philippians 3:7).
Apostle Paul always talked about the grace of God which used him mightily in the ministry. He humbled himself at the feet of God and received His grace. That was the reason why he could lead a devout life for the glory of God.
Lord Jesus expects us to lead a holy life. That was the reason why He shed His precious blood on the cross and gave up His life for us. “The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: 'I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness'” (Jeremiah 31:3).
Apostle Paul said, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20). Because of His love for us and in order to to save our souls, Lord Jesus Christ gave His life for us. When He comes and lives in us, we will become new creations. Then He will come and dwell in us and enable us to live victorious lives by faith.
Loving Lord Jesus,
You gave your life for our sake. I humble myself before You. I surrender my life to You. Come and live in me and make me a new creation. Help me to lead a devout life for your glory. Exalt me by your perfect grace. Grant me the grace to possess your heavenly blessings.
In Your matchless name I pray.
