Dearly beloved in Christ! We read in the Bible that in the last days we the saints of God will judge others (1 Corinthians 6:2, 3). How are we going to judge others? We are going to judge the world only with the word of God. "He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him; the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day" (John 12:48). Before the coming of the Lord, each and every word that proceeds from our mouth today protects the people from darkness. When the world comes to an end, the same word will become the word of judgement.
Dearly beloved in Christ! Do you know how it works? Today, if we preach the gospel in a particular place, God will give eternal life to those who accept the gospel. But those who reject the gospel will be brought before us for judgement. At that time, the gospel which we preach today will come before us. We will question: “On that day, I preached this gospel to you in that meeting. Why didn’t you accept it? Because of that, I am judging you today.” Based on the Word, we judge them.
Dearly beloved in Christ! Whatever we preach today will not go in vain. Those who accept it will be taken to heaven and those who reject it will be judged by the word. So whenever we preach the word of God, we must get it from God diligently and share it with the people. God has given us the keys of heaven and hell. Not only that! We will be cursed if we do not preach the gospel properly (Jeremiah 48:10). The end of those who do not preach the gospel despite knowing it is recorded in Luke 12:42-47. The punishment that comes to those who do not preach the gospel diligently and destroy the powers of Satan is detailed in the Bible (Luke 12:46). Even if we fail to receive the word of God properly and preach it, we will be judged. So let us intercede with the Lord to give us His word, so that we need not stand before the seat of judgement. By preaching the word of God everywhere, let us bind satan in darkness and prepare the world for the coming of the Lord Jesus.
Loving Lord Jesus,
When You sojourned on this earth, You commanded Your disciples to teach the people to observe all things that You commanded and promised to be with them even to the end of the age. On this wonderful day grant me the grace to preach Your word in season or out of season and be thoroughly equipped for doing so.
In Your matchless name I pray.
