THOUSAND TIMES

Dear Friend! You may be lamenting, “Oh Lord! I was patiently waiting for Your blessings the whole of last year. I had cried day and night but still I have not received an answer from You. Will I get an answer atleast in this New Year?” By the mighty power of God I would like to tell you, “This year you shall see the Lord increasing you thousand times in the same place where you were put to shame and disappointment.”
“May the Lord, the God of your fathers, increase you a thousand times and bless you as He has promised” (Deuteronomy 1:11). The Lord has promised you this year that He would increase you thousand times as you seek Him faithfully. He is a God of justice and righteousness. “And the Lord said, ‘Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for His chosen ones, who cry out to Him day and night? Will He keep putting them off? I tell you, He will see that they get justice, and quickly….” (Luke 18:6-8).
Once I attended the dedication ceremony of a child. During that function, the mother of that child narrated the following with exuberance as to how the Lord removed her shame. “Brother! The Lord has given me all the worldly blessings but I was not blessed with the gift of a child even after 9 years of marriage. All medical treatments proved futile. Everywhere I was put to shame. The taunts of people were unbearable piercing like arrows. It was at this juncture I had an opportunity to meet you (Dr. Paul Dhinakaran). When you prayed for me placing your hand on my head, you prophesied, ‘The Lord will certainly bless you with a child next year.’ I returned home with a great hope. What a wonder! As prophesied, the Lord blessed me with a child the following year. He blessed me according to the days in which I was humiliated” (Psalm 90:15).
Dear Friend! In the same way the Lord shall certainly remove all your shame in this New Year. Our gracious and just Lord is anxious to bless His children bountifully.
Prayer
Loving heavenly Father!
Everyone has let me down and I feel lonely and downcast. I do not know what to do next. I am utterly helpless and powerless. Please, Father, take full control of my life and all that are in it. Right now, perform a miracle in my life and bless me a thousand times.
I pray this prayer in the sweet name of our Lord Jesus.
Amen.
