GREAT GOD

Esther was suddenly given the great responsibility of becoming a queen for a vast empire. An evil man named Haman tried to destroy the Jews but when Esther humbled herself and cried out to God in prayer with fasting, the Lord answered her prayer and changed the situation topsy-turvy.
“For great is the Holy One of Israel” (Isaiah 12:6)
“Great is our Lord and mighty in power” (Psalm 147:5)
“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy” (Psalm 126:3).
The Lord did such a mighty work through Esther that even those who were not Jews upon witnessing this act became Jews.
Even today the Lord is mighty enough to do such great things in your life. When you too cling on to the Lord who is “great and mighty” just like Esther, you shall certainly see miracles in your life.
The devout Job declared, “He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted” (Job 9:10). Even though he lost everything in life, he saw great wonders in his life by the divine grace of God. He became a blessed person and received in double measure all that he had lost.
A lady suffered from depression and also with the issue of blood. She lived her life without any hope and in great agony. Her husband was planning to admit her in a hospital meant for mentally depressed people. Even amidst her depression and affliction she heard about one of our women’s conferences and came for the meeting finding the way with great difficulty. She just arrived at the venue when I was about to begin the Lord’s message. It was at that time the Lord graciously enabled me to encourage the people with a promise from the Scriptures, just quoting a name for example I said, “Priscilla! If you believe you will see the glory of God.” It so happened that particular lady’s name was Priscilla. When she heard her name there arose a great joy and her faith was kindled. She received perfect healing and came running to the dais. Then she shared her testimony giving glory to God.
Similarly, God will be in your midst doing great and mighty things for you this year. Cling to Him with great hope and be filled with His perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3).
Prayer:
Almighty God,
You have the power to change any heart. I also firmly believe that today. You can completely change my weakness and despair. Lord, please take away all my weaknesses. Strengthen my spirit, soul and body and give me a blessed life.
In Jesus precious name, I pray.
