Paul's Mission

When Saul arrived at Damascus he was totally blind. But by the time he left, he could see again, both in his eyes and heart and he improved all the more in strength in the Lord. He also changed his name from Saul to Paul.

Once Paul was touched by the Lord, he traveled from village to village-telling people his story

i.e. the way he used to kill all Christians, how he encountered Jesus, and how his life was changed upside down and how Jesus could change their lives.

Sometimes, Paul traveled with his friends and one of his friends were Barnabas. They used to go together from city to city proclaiming the good news about Jesus to all people. Due to the very reason, at times, they made friends and at times enemies.

In one of the places where they preached, they met a man who had never been able to walk, right from his birth. This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him and wanting to do good, said to him, "Stand up!" The man jumped up and he could walk! He was so happy, that he leaped and danced!

Later, some of the Jews from Antioch spread among many people that Paul was evil. They beat him up and threw rocks at him mercilessly until, they thought, he was dead. Then, they dragged him outside the city. While the disciples stood around his body, he managed to get up and went right back into the city to preach, as if nothing had happened! Such was the God-given boldness in Paul!

Q1) What did Paul say to the Lame man?

Q2) Who threw stones at Paul?
