Jesus And Nicodemus

One night a man named Nicodemus came to talk to Jesus.  He told Jesus, "We know that you are a teacher come from God and no one can do the miracles you do."

Then Jesus answered by saying him, "Unless you are born again, you cannot be one of God's children".  Nicodemus was confused by this answer as he could not understand what Jesus, was trying to say.  Nicodemus thought, "How can a man be born again when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?  But Jesus explained that being born again meant asking God to give him new life i.e. a life that would last forever.

God loved the world so much that he sent Jesus to earth to die on a Cross for all the sins of the world. Those who believe in him are forgiven and live forever. 

Now friend, Are you born again? If you are not saved. Say this small prayer and be sure that you do not miss the eternal life!

I come to you as I am.  Please forgive all my sins and shortcomings.  Cleanse me with the blood of your son Jesus.  Give me a new life and strengthen me to live in you.  In Jesus' name. Amen.
