FISHING WITH JESUS

 
When Jesus lived on this earth, people thronged to listen to Him. Miracles used to take place whenever He wanted them to happen, just by a word from His mouth.

One day as He was preaching beside the Sea of Galilee He saw at the waters edge two boats, left there by fishermen Peter and Andrew.  Jesus got into the boat and began preaching to the people from there.  After He had finished preaching, Jesus said to Peter and Andrew, “Go further into the sea and cast your nets to catch some fish."
 

In fact, Peter and Andrew had toiled all night at the sea.  Hard luck! They did not get even a single fish. They were quite disheartened. Peter told Jesus the whole of their unsuccessful fishing expedition.

But finally, they obeyed Jesus and cast their nets. And what a wonder! They got so many fish that the net began to tear. They filled up two boats so full of fish that the boats almost began to sink!

This shows how, when we obey God's Word, miracles take place.
