Part-22 The Blood that Cleanses

NASH: Nimmy! See who has come.

NIMI : Nash! It's John.

NASH : Hello John! What a big surprise!

NIMI : Why are some holes seen in your shirt, John? What's wrong?

JOHN : That's why I came. Jim! Can you spare a shirt for me. Yours will fit me all right.

NASH : With pleasure, I'll give you one.

NIMI : How did you get those holes in your shirt?

JOHN : In the laboratory, while mixing Sulphuric Acid with Ammonium Chloride, it slipped and spilled on my shirt.

NIMI: Acid is that strong!

JOHN : If Acid,a man's discovery - is so potent, is it not certain that Christ's blood would annihilate all sins?

NASH : Yes, Jim.  But for His blood we can't become holy.

NIMI : Why can't you put it more clearly?

NASH : In a particular area in England, a few rich youth  had a Tennis court for themselves and played Tennis regularly.

NIMI : There were some expert players also.

NASH : They had engaged a poor boy as a picker, for daily wages.

NIMI : The little boy was a very responsible fellow.

NASH : But he never attempted to play Tennis. That thought  didn't even strike him.

NASH : One day while returning home after his work was over, he was caught in an accident and was wounded seriously.  A Tennis player, who was passing that way after playing Tennis, happened to see him.  He took him in his car immediately and admitted him to the hospital.  Because he was bleeding profusely, the doctor said that he would survive only if blood transmission was done.

NASH : The Tennis player came forward to give his blood.  Fortunately, his blood was found to match the boy's and so it was transfused into the boy.

NIMI : The boy revived and there was a marked change in him.

NASH : Gradually, he began to show interest in Tennis. He began to practice playing Tennis.

NIMI : If they were in need of a player, he would join.

JOHN : The Tennis player's blood mixed in his had changed him perhaps?

NASH : Yes ! That's it.  After a few years, he became a great player and brought glory to his nation.

NIMI : If a player's blood could change that boy's life, what shall I say about the blood of Jesus that was shed for me!

JOHN : I am going to rededicate my life to that precious blood which can change my life completely.

NASH : It is certain that Christ's blood can purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God. (Hebrews 9:14).
