MARTIN: You are telling a story!
NIMI: No Martin. It is history. He lost his parents in his young age.
MARTIN: What a pity!
|

NASH: But, he had God at the centre of his life and made great achievements.
When he was ten years old he worked in a God-fearing lady's house and also sent to school. That lady taught him to read the Bible, to pray and to go to church.
|
NASH: It seems, he used to study his lessons, keeping his books near him while washing the dishes. He had great interest in gardening. Even as a young boy he used to research on insects and plants.
|
NASH : In those days it was difficult for him to join College
NIMI: Yes, Yes He was a black man!
NASH: He got admission in a College after many years. He studied working at the same time in a laundry and in the College canteen.
|
NIMI: He became a teacher in the famous
'Taskis Institute'. Then he started his own workshop called 'God's Little Workshop:
NASH: His prayer was; "Lord I, who am your child must achieve something great with your help."
|
NIMI: He discovered that at least 300 articles like milk, soap and sugar could be prepared from groundnut. His discoveries are numerous.
NASH: He was George Washington Carver. Scientists praised him for his discoveries and he won the coveted Nobel Prize.
|
NIMI: It was because of his prayer that he could achieve so much. Because he followed God, he had many success in his life.
NASH: We too should give priority to God in our lives. Let us start the
work in His presence. The blessings will abound in our lives.
|
MARTIN: IT is true. I'll go to church with my parents
today. I have learnt that prayer brings victory.
'Thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ.' (2 Corinthians 2:14).
