These are quite common in a family that fears God.(Nimi narrates a story)

The wife of a business man was very devout woman.

She brought up her only son in an exemplary manner in prayer and Bible reading.

His father died unexpectedly.

So this young man had to take up the responsibility of running that business.

This young man Richard carried on his heavy responsibility very well, so prayerfully.

Every Monday Richard went to the nearby market to sell his goods.

One day a gang of robbers planned to waylay and plunder him.

He would come back at midnight on his horse with a big sum of money.

Sam: Did they plan to rob him then?

Nimi: Yes, that 's it!

On a Monday night they tied a fine steel wire between two trees on either side of the road.

They knew that when Richard came riding fast, he would fall down while his neck was cut off by the taut steel wire. They could then take all is money and run away.

Hearing the approach of the horse and the rider they went and hid themselves among the bushes.

Sam:  Poor Richard! His life was in danger. The steel rope was sure to cut off his neck.

Nimi:  That's true. But something different happened. When Richard came near the wire, he bent low and rode on .Really!

Surprised at it , the thieves went to his house the next day and asked him how he noticed the wire.

Nash: Richard could not explain anything, because he had never noticed the wire! When he thought hard to find out why he bent low, he remembered two things.

Nimi: He remembered stooping when he felt his shoe seemed to be slipping off from his feet.

Nash: His mother Incessant prayer for him and his own prayers at his going out and coming in saved  him from those robbers.

Sam: You have made me realize that the value of prayer. Come let us pray , even now. Prayer brings victory
