Part-08

NASH: I am very anxious that we both should join the excursion party.

NIMI: What to do? We have scored low marks in the monthly tests.  So daddy has refused to give us money.

NASH: Nimi! Just get down from the rickshaw. There is a bag lying on the road.

NIMI: Why bother? It's getting late for school.

NASH: See Nimi! It isn't a bag.  There's a purse inside, with currency notes!

NIMI: Show me, show me.

NASH: Thank God!  Our problem is solved now. We can join our friends in the excursion.

NIMI: Wait. Wait. We shouldn't take this money. We should give it to the nearest Police Station.

NASH: Stupid! You know nothing! We will say, it is our small savings. Let's have some fun in the excursion.

(A Police Inspector comes that way)

NASH & NIMI: Good morning sir!

INSPECTOR: Good morning!

NIMI: Sir, I am glad that you came this way. We found this lying on the road, sir! Nash, will you take that bag and give it to the Inspector?

(Nash hands over the bag to the Inspector)

INSPECTOR: Thank you very much, It's my bag I lost it on my way and came searching for it.  I'm glad that it is found.  Thank you very much.  Please, let me know your school address.

(They give the address)

TEACHER: Nash & Nimi! You are wanted by the Principal.

NASH: Nimi! Didn't I tell you? You have invited trouble by handing over the bag to that Inspector.

PRINCIPAL: Nash & Nimi! Congratulations! In appreciation of your honesty our local Police Inspector has sent you a gift of Rs.50/-. You'll be awarded a Merit Certificate too on the Independence Day.

NASH: Please forgive me Nimi. Now I realise the value of honesty.  Hereafter I'll be honest always.

NIMI: I'm so glad over your decision Nash! We should always be faithful. God wants only that.

"He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much." (Luke 16:10)
"Because you were faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities." (Luke 19:17)
