A corporate prayer was conducted by the Jesus Calls Ministry specially for the students
who are writing their public exams. It started at 2:00 pm on sunday, the 6th February 2011
at the Madras Christian College Higher Secondary School, Chetpet.
This programme began with a prayer by Rev. Fr. Stanley Sebastian, the Superintendent of the Catholic
Schools in Chennai. Students who attained State and University Ranks during last year shared their experiences
and success stories. Many Students from Karunya University, Coimbatore shared their experiences as to how they were
placed in prestigious companies through prayer.
Paul Dhinakaran , the founder of Jesus Calls, the Chancellor of Karunya University, Member of the Monitoring Committee
for the Minority Education in India and Member of Sarva Shiksha Abyan motivated the students saying that if they write their
exams with the faith in the Almighty, they can surely succeed. Then he prayed sincerely for the thousands of Students who had
gathered there.
Earlier Mr. G.J. Manohar, the Principal of MCC Higher Secondary School welcomed the gathering. Samuel Paul sang special
numbers and led the students in Worship. Both Paul Dhinakaran and Samuel Paul prayed individually for all the students.
Prof. S.J. Kingsley compered the programme. All the students were unanimous in their opinion that this prayer meeting has
removed their fear and it has given them a hope to write their exams with confidence.
