In the capital city of India, the Delhi Prayer Festival was conducted in a grand manner for the first time with video shows on a grand platform at Ram Leela Ground under the patronage of all church leaders from 27 to 29th November 2009.

Hon’ble Oscar Fernandez M.P., Bishop Sunil Kumar Singh, Church of North India, Delhi Diocese, Bishop Rt. Rev. Naresh Ambala, Church of North India, Darjeeling, Rt. Rev Vincent Concesso, Arch Bishop Catholic Churches, Rt. Rev. Walter David, Moderator – Baptist Churches of North India, Rev. Dr. Y.D. Jayaseelan, Rev. Dr. R. Abraham along with many other pastors participated in the Prayer Festival.

On these Prayer Festival days, hundred thousands of people gathered as never before. God intervened mightily through Dr. Paul Dhinakaran, Sis. Evangeline Paul, Sis. Sharon and Sweety Paul. God performed awesome and amazing acts. He called out the names of many people, blessed them, drove away evil spirits and healed the sick. God particularly healed a person who had been suffering for 26 years with a dreaded disease in the spinal chord. The love of God flowed like a river in Delhi. Truly God consoled and comforted His people.
