The Miracle WorkerSpeaker: Dr. Paul Dhinakaran Gist: The Lord shall heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds. Beloved! The Lord Jesus Christ is a miracle worker and shall heal you physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds" (Psalms 147:3).
Several years ago, my father walked into a certain house to offer prayers for the family members. Before stepping inside, he witnessed an old woman seated on an easy chair outside the house. A little more of keen observation revealed that she had been tied with ropes to that chair. My father was shocked at this.
He asked the family, "Why have you done this?" They responded with tears running down their cheeks, "She is our most beloved aunty. Aunty and Uncle loved each other very dearly so much so that they never had any secrets between them and were never separated at point of time in their lives. They showered great love on us also.
Unfortunately, uncle passed away and aunty was shattered to such an extent that she could not perceive a life without him. She would weep profusely and as a result became mentally imbalanced. Because of this, she would often wander off without our knowledge and we would with great difficulty trace her whereabouts and bring her back. Just to prevent her from doing so, we had no other way but resort to such an act as this."
The Bible says, "The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness, but WHO CAN BEAR A BROKEN SPIRIT? (Proverbs 18:14). Their aunt's spirit was crushed to such an extent that sorrow sunk and sapped the ability of her faculty. Sorrow and a broken heart can only make a person suffer.
It is in such situation as this that our loving Lord Jesus Christ says, "I HAVE COME TO COMFORT ALL THOSE WHO MOURN." God wishes to heal your broken heart. Are you saying that you have no one to comfort you in this world? Today the Lord who looks at your contrite spirit will surely wipe away your tears and give you the desired comfort.
He tells you, "My dear daughter\ son, I am a Miracle Worker and I will comfort you. I will perform a miracle and make you live in this world." Surely He will comfort your broken heart, heal and bind it all by Himself. Today, with a purpose you have come to this website and that is to taste, see and experience the miracles that the Miracle Worker, Jesus Christ can do for you.
My father, by the unction of the Holy Spirit called a certain sister named Lakshmi. She had dissolved the idea of living in this world simply because her spirit had grown bitter due to lack of love. She found no meaning in just propelling with life since the problems were much beyond her ability to tackle.
My father called out, "Daughter Lakshmi!" She was yearning and expecting for just this one word that would pep her spirit. However, Jesus Christ did not forsake her. Jesus called her by name, healed her broken heart and filled her with joy. Now with overwhelming joy bubbling forth from her heart like a fountain (that had been crushed before) she came to the platform and testified about the miracle that the Miracle Worker had performed in her life. The hope and assurance that Jesus Christ would lead her on was born. Once again she has walked back with renewed strength to live for the glory of God.
You are not to die, fail nor be humiliated in life. Jesus wants you to live and be honoured in this life. Today, He will build up your life.
Prayer:
Loving Lord Jesus,
I thank because You are a Miracle Worker and I long to taste, see and experience Your miracles in my life. Give me the grace to magnify and glorify Your name by experiencing and witnessing Your indescribable acts of wonder. Heal my broken heart and crushed spirit this day and grant me the joy of living today. May I also be a source of comfort radiating Your virtues to others in need. All glory, honour and praises belong to You.
