The Everlasting GospelSpeaker: Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran Gist: The Everlasting Gospel says that there is eternal life and every good thing in Jesus Christ. Beloved! God loved the world that He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. This is Everlasting Gospel.
Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself on the cross to redeem us from sin. He defeated satan and his armies at the cross to give us victory. He bore our sins and suffered for us on the cross (Isaiah 53:5). The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7). This Everlasting Gospel that Jesus Christ paid the price for our sins and that He broke every curse of mankind has to be preached to every man on earth.
People living in curse, sickness and without hope need to know the Gospel that there is blessing, prosperity, and hope and eternal life in Jesus Christ. Apostle John writes, “Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to reach to those who dwell on the earth; to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people” (Revelation 14:6).
The world needs the everlasting Gospel and Jesus said, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand" (Matthew 4:17).
Many years ago, I read a moving incident about the world renowned Evangelist Dr. Billy Graham. Many people requested him to conduct a crusade as he was growing old. Soon, a crusade was conducted in New York City for three days. Crowds spilled over the grounds all the three days. He preached the same Gospel when he was young, “Repent! The Kingdom of God is at hand! There is forgiveness for your sins and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses you from all sins!” When he gave the altar call as it was his custom at the end, thousands came forward with tears and gave their lives to Christ. Though he was very old and had many weaknesses in his body, the Gospel went forth with power and authority to save thousands of people.
Beloved! You may live with weaknesses or problems of any kind, but when you give your heart to the Lord, He will remove all your problems that distress you and give you eternal life.
Prayer:
Loving Lord Jesus,
Forgive my sins and cleanse me with Your blood. I thank You that You took all the sins of mankind and sacrificed Yourself on the cross. I praise and thank You for giving me eternal life. I thank You that I have every good thing bestowed on me through You. Let Your grace be with me to the end of my life. I give You all glory, honour and praise.
