Dear friend, do you know that the Lord loves to dwell with you and your family. Yes, you shall be His son/ daughter and your family will be in peace. God promises, "I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people…and you shall be My sons and daughters" (2 Corinthians 6:16,18).
The Lord delights to bless everything in your family and make you enjoy His blessing. In Exodus 23:25, the Lord says that He would bless the bread and water and take away sickness from them. When we pray before having our food, He will bless it with good health.
A young girl, the darling child of a family was allergic to eating fish. When she ate fish, she would suffer because of the allergy. So, every body at home decided to give up eating fish for her. One day after a long time, the father wished to have some fish for lunch and after his daughter left for school, asked his wife to prepare some fish. Within a short time his wife made delicious dish and as the father was about to eat it, saw his daughter entering the room. She came home earlier from school. She was thrilled on seeing the fish on the table and asked her father, “Dad, can I eat some fish?” He did not want to disappoint her by saying no but prayed according to 1 Timothy 4:4, “For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving” and said that she should never have any allergy again. He asked the Lord to bless it. He gave his daughter some fish to eat which she relished it greatly. To every one's surprise she did not suffer from the allergy after eating it. Yes, God had blessed the food with healing and the fish could not cause any allergy to her!
Dear friend, do you lament over the problems in your life? Do you say, “My life is cursed?” Cheer up! The Lord will break the curse in your family. He will make you His son/ daughter and will dwell with you and your family. You will never have unnecessary expenditures anymore. Peace and joy will reign in your family. The Lord will shower His blessings abundantly on every member of your family.
Prayer:
Loving Heavenly Father,
Let my life be pleasing to You and I ask You to come and dwell with me. I praise and thank You for the promise that You would be our God for generations and that we would be your sons and daughters. Help me to restrain all unnecessary expenditures. Let Your mercy, peace and joy fill me and my family members. In Jesus’ name I pray.
