A Bright Future for YouSpeaker: Dr. Paul Dhinakaran Gist: Lord Jesus Christ will make your future bright and beautiful. Dear friend, as long as we live in this world we are always tormented about our “tomorrow” in life. Yes, we are always concerned and are uncertain about our future. But it is the desire of the Lord to give us a good and peaceful future filled with His goodness.
Many years ago my father was employed as an officer in the State Bank of India. I was a lad then. When my father returned home from office, I would hug and kiss him. One day, when he came home after completing his day’s work, the house was filled with sandalwood fragrance. We tried to find out from where the fragrance was wafting up but we could not figure out from where it was emanating. As usual when I hugged my father and kissed him, I exclaimed that the sandalwood fragrance was wafting from his dress! He explained, “Son, I had been on an inspection to a factory that manufactured sandalwood oil. This factory had taken a loan from the State Bank of India and I had to verify whether the sandalwood and oil stock position and accounts were in order. For three hours I moved around in the factory inspecting, amidst the sweet smelling sandalwood and the fragrant oil that was extracted from it. That was why strong whiffs of sandalwood oil smell were wafting up from my dress.”
Likewise, Lord Jesus Christ will be with us as a sweet smelling fragrance in our lives. The Lord promises us to be with us even to the end. We will carry the sweet fragrance of the Lord to others.
Our Loving Lord Jesus Christ promises us, "I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). In John 16:33, the Lord says, “In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world (the tribulations).”
He will be with us and give us grace to overcome the problems in life. He will fill us with joy and peace. Our future will be bright and beautiful with peace. The Lord will cause us to inherit every good thing in our lives.

Loving Lord Jesus,
I praise and thank You for the promises that You have given me. I commit my life into Your hands. Take control of it. Let my future be filled with Your peace and joy. I praise and thank You for Your abounding goodness in my life. I give You all glory, honour and praise to You alone.
