Not Sick Any MoreSpeaker: Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran Gist: Seek the Lord and He will take away the sickness from you. Beloved! It is the will of God that you should be well in life and be in perfect health. When you seek God, He promises, “I will take sickness away from the midst of you” (Exodus 23:25). Sickness is a weapon of the devil to turn you away from God and to make you suffer in health. Jesus Christ was born into this world to destroy the works of the devil. The Bible says, “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him” (Acts 10:38).
Lord Jesus Christ loves healing the sick. When you seek the Lord, He shall heal you from sickness and fill you with peace.
“The Lord will strengthen him on the bed of his illness; he will sustain him on his sick bed” (Psalm 41:3).
An American missionary went to Africa and shared the love of Christ to the people there. He worked hard day and night to give them education and eradicate sickness. Once, he became a victim of a terminal fever. His health started deteriorating day by day. Seeing his hopeless condition, the villagers made all arrangements for the last rites of this man and waited for him to die.
When he was about to breathe his last, he heard a divine voice cursing the fever, “Stop! Go no further!” Instantly he was healed! He came out of his hut and the people were bewildered on seeing him whole. He told them that the Lord had healed him to their surprise and joy. They all glorified the Lord for healing him.
Beloved! When you seek the Lord and follow Him, He will keep you far from sickness and keep you in perfect health.
Prayer:
Loving Lord Jesus,
I praise and thank You that it is Your will for me to be in perfect health. Help me to seek You more in my life and live a life that pleases You. Take away sickness from me and keep me far from evil. I praise and thank You for the price You paid for my sickness on the cross. Use me as a channel to bring healing to others. I give You all glory, honour, and praise.
