WORD OF GOD Speaker: Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran Gist: God speaks to you through His word. Dear friend, God wants to lead your family according to His will.
Isaiah 30:21 says “Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "This is the way, walk in it.”
When you meditate the word of God, He will speak to you through the word and will instruct you to walk in the right path. Thus He will help you to lead a successful family life.
In my young age my mother always instructed me to read the Bible and pray to God. In order to please her I used to read the Bible and pray a short prayer. But after marriage, I started observing my husband Dr. Paul Dhinakaran’s prayerful life. He used to meditate the word of God with great thirst and spend more time in Prayer. Whenever He reads the Bible, he used to claim the promise in it and in turn will plead before Him to fulfill the promise. Amazingly the Lord will exactly bless him according to that promise. I used to wonder how faithful God is towards His servant.
During prayer time he used to note down whatever God speaks to him and at the end of the day he will share the marvelous thing that God did on that particular day. We as a family used to praise God for the great mercy that He shows to our family.
Though he went away from the Lord in his young age, God had a plan in his life. He did not forsake him. When he tasted the love of God, he shunned the worldly desires and clung onto Jesus. God blessed him in his studies and excelled him to a great level. Today He is a channel of blessing to many.
Have your friends forsaken you? Do you feel dejected? Be not dismayed. The Lord who touched my husband will come into your life too. Receive Him as your friend. He will be with you and will guide you. God will surely bless you and your family.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
I praise You for Your great promises and I pray that it would get fulfilled in my life. Help me to meditate the word of God and pray everyday without fail. Sit beside me and teach me to walk in your path. Lead my family according to your word and instruct me to hold on to your promises.
