GIFT OF LOVE Speaker: Sis. Stella Dhinakaran Gist: The Lord will redeem you and your family through His divine love. The love of God will overflow from you, when you are anointed by the Holy Spirit. So, plead unto Him for His blessings.
He will set right everything that is defective in you and will make you perfect, therefore be filled with His divine love. “….put on love, which is the bond of perfection” (Colossians 3:14).
The divine love of God will be poured into your heart in full measure, when the Holy Spirit is gifted to you (Romans 5:5). Thus, ask Him to fill you with His Holy Spirit, who is ready to give the good gifts to you. "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!" (Luke 11:13).
“For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, and My blessing on your offspring.” (Isaiah 44:3)
In the year 1962, the Lord blessed my husband, Bro.D.G.S.Dhinakaran with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. From that day onwards, a great desire came into my heart to receive the same gift from God, though I did not have a burden about it till then. I prayed with tears day and night for these glorious blessings. The Lord observed the sincere thirst in me and filled me with His Holy spirit in a very special way. I was filled with the inexplicable and glorious joy.
When you have the thirst for the Holy Spirit, He will surely fill you and the love of God will overflow from you. You will exhibit the divine love in your own family and to others.
There was a couple, who loved the Lord and was doing His ministry. But, the members of their families reproached and mocked at them. Unmindful of such hostile treatment, they continued to pray for their salvation. The Lord listened to their diligent prayer and brought all their family members’ under His divine love. Not only that, God also anointed all of them with the Holy Spirit.
In the same way, the sincere love and prayers that you offer will bring your family members and others to His divine love and they will be filled with the Holy Spirit.
Dear friend, when you are filled with the Holy Spirit, the love of God will overflow from you. You will arise as a testimony in your family. He will surely bring your household and others to His divine love through you.
Prayer:
Abba Father,
Your divine love is so great that I can’t express in words. Help me to always lean on You specially in my difficult situations. Fill me with the anointing of the Holy Spirit that I may reach out to those who are unaware of Your love and compassion. Bless me this day with Your happiness, peace and joy with surpasses all understanding.
