Gist: Surely, there will be an end to all your afflictions. Your faith will not be cut off.

The Lord will bless you with His wisdom to maneuver the difficult situation. Surely, there will be an end to all your afflictions. Your faith will not be cut off.

“Be zealous for the fear of the Lord all the day; For surely there is a hereafter, And your hope will not be cut off.” (Proverbs 23:17,18)

He will teach you and guide you in all your difficult situation. Psalm 32:8 says, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.”

Once, King Ahasuerus of Shushan made a feast and he commanded queen Vashti to be present in the palace. But, she refused to obey his command. This made the King angry and he banished queen Vashti and gathered young women. Among all of them, the king loved Esther, a jew, the daughter of Abihail, the uncle of Mordecai. She obtained grace and favour in his sight and she became the queen of Shushan.

During this time, the king made Haman to be seated above all. With this authority, Haman tainted his power by commanding everyone to pay homage to him. But, Mordecai did not do so. So, he made a false accusation to destroy the people of Jews. He prepared a decree and the king gave away his signet ring to Haman.

When Esther knew about the cunning plans of Haman to destroy the entire Jewish race in that country, she was prepared to act according to the counsel and the will of God. So, she equipped herself to face the king. According to the custom of those days, when someone goes to meet the king without being called, they will survive only when the king stretches forth his scepter to them. If not even if it were the queen, she should face death penalty.

But, she was determined to meet the king. She was prepared even to die, yet she boldly progressed ahead to meet the king. As she moved ahead with the presence of God, she was provided with the courage to execute the will of God. Along with the divine courage she received the divine wisdom from God. Once again she obtained the grace and favour in the king's sight. She was able to save the king and the jews from the plot of Haman.

Esther looked unto the Lord and surrendered all her problems in His presence. He bestowed her with divine wisdom and counseled her to face the challenging situation. The Lord took over Himself the responsibility of solving her predicament.

Similarly, the Lord will solve your predicament and will bestow you with divine wisdom to face any challenging situations, when you call upon Him and commit yourself in His presence.

“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” (Jeremiah 33:3)

Dear friend, call upon the Lord and commit your life unto Him. Surely, there will be an end to all the sufferings, mental agonies and debts. Your faith will not be cut off. The Lord, who helped Esther will also help you and guide you till the end.

Prayer:

Loving Lord,

I call upon You to instruct me to walk in Your path. I commit my life unto You. Grant me Your divine wisdom to face any challenging situations that come to me everyday. Help me to be filled in Your presence before I do my work. In Your immense grace and mercy exalt and honour me at Your appointed time. Guide me so that my hope will not be cut off.

In Jesus' most precious name, I pray.

Amen.
