BE BOLD

Speaker: Dr. Paul Dhinakaran

Gist: God says, “Fear not, for I am with you.”

God will uphold you with His righteous hand and He will strengthen you to be bold. “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).

The fear in your heart prevents you to be successful in your life. When the power and the love of God encircles you, the Lord will remove the spirit of fear from you and He will lift you up. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

Once, when Jesus and His disciples were sailing in a boat, there was a great windstorm and the waves beat into the boat and it was likely to capsize. But, Jesus was in the stern and fast asleep. Fear gripped the disciples and they awoke Jesus and said, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. But, He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” (Mark 4:40).

Are you so fearful about your marks or job or promotion or business or about your family? When you keep your faith upon the Lord, He will surely seize all your fears from you.

“The righteous are bold as a lion.” (Proverbs 28:1)

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” (John 14:12)

According to the above Bible verses, the Lord has called you to do greater works. When you trust the Lord, you will be bold as a lion. Just cry out to Him saying, “Lord, I want to be successful in my life. I keep my trust upon You. Help me to be bold as a lion.” He will surely seize all your fear and you will be bold as a lion.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I want to be successful in my life and I trust You with all of my heart that You will bless me. Please remove all the fears from me and help me to be bold as a lion. Give me Your grace to crush satan under my feet. I admit that You have already conquered the evil one through the crucifixion on the cross of Calvary.

All praises, honour and glory belong to You.

Amen.
