PRAISE GOD!Speaker: Dr. Paul Dhinakaran Gist: You can glorify God and sing His praises, when you have the right relationship with Him. God will fill you with His divine presence and you will sing His praises, when you have the right relationship with Him.
Many years back, two preachers came to meet a servant of God and stayed in his house. The preachers wasted their time by finding false accusations about others.
One day, the servant of God asked them, “What do people speak about me?” The preachers gave a lot of false statement about the servant of God. They expected that the servant of God will become furious and send them out of his house. But, he kept on saying, “Praise be to God.” And looked at the preachers and said, “Beloved friends, would you please stay in the next room for a while? I do not want to respond to all the accusations leveled against me by others. Let me remain alone in this room and examine my life in the presence of God. I would like to identify whether the allegations are true and let me reconcile with God.”
When they left the room, the servant of God humbled himself before the Almighty. The presence of God filled him and he began to sing praises and glorified Him.
The Bible says, “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” (Matthew 12:34). According to this truth, he began to converse with God. The preachers watched the servant of God and they began to tremble. They fell before him and they also felt the presence of God. On that day, they were transformed and became the faithful servants of God.
Dear friend, let the strength and power to praise and exalt God be always present in your mouth. You can glorify Him and sing His praises, only when you have the right relationship with Him. You will be filled with His divine presence and He will honour you.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
Fill my mouth with praise and thanksgiving in all my difficult situations. Strengthen my relationship with You. Let Your divine presence fill me so that I will not think of the false accusations which goes around me. Please give me the virtue of forgiving my fellowmen. Remove all bitterness that are blocking my way from receiving the blessings that You have in store for me. Bless me this day and prosper all my efforts.
In Jesus’ glorious name, I pray.
Amen.
